Coverage

Exactly what we check — no fine print.

A compliance product should be precise about its own coverage. Here is what the engine evaluates today, everywhere, and where the deep state modules go further.

Federal coverage — every U.S. public water system

Every scan starts with the full federal Safe Drinking Water Act rulebook, matched to your system's type, size, and source water — with your complete EPA violation history and facility inventory pulled in automatically. Sanitary survey records are held by your state primacy agency, not published federally, so we can’t retrieve those for you.

That covers Consumer Confidence Reports, Revised Total Coliform Rule sampling, Lead & Copper (LCRR/LCRI, including the November 1, 2027 deadline), PFAS monitoring, the Groundwater and Surface Water Treatment Rules, Stage 2 disinfection byproducts, public notification readiness, sanitary survey cycles, operator certification, AWIA resilience obligations, and UCMR participation.

For these states, scans additionally evaluate state-specific primacy program requirements that we maintain rule by rule with citations to state code:

All other states

You get the complete federal evaluation, your system’s federal record (violations and facilities), your state's primacy agency contacts and program links, and regulatory-change monitoring for federal actions affecting systems like yours. State-specific rule evaluation for these states is on the roadmap — modules ship in the order our customers need them.

Funding coverage

Funding matching runs nationwide. The curated catalog covers the major federal programs (DWSRF and its set-asides, USDA Rural Development, EPA emerging-contaminant money) plus state programs where we have built a module. Every match links its official agency page and says “likely eligible — confirm with the agency”: eligibility is decided by the agency, never by us. Check your system’s matches

Federal coverage everywhere. State depth where we have built it.

We say plainly which states have a rules module and which do not, because guessing on your behalf would be worse than useless.

Consumer Confidence Report coverage

The Consumer Confidence Report generator produces a report that is complete against the federal rule (40 CFR 141 Subpart O) in all 50 states. State-specific additions are verified today for California and Texas. Everywhere else the report is federally complete and tells you to confirm your state’s additions with your primacy agency — we would rather say that than imply a state overlay we have not checked.

Daily log and monthly operating report coverage

The daily log produces one monthly operating report: a complete record of the month — day-by-day readings, monthly totals, compliance statistics, exceptions and a signature block — that you print, sign and file. We do not yet reproduce any state’s own MOR form. In practice that means you either attach this page or transfer its figures onto your state’s form; every figure our daily log captures is on it, but the layout is ours, not theirs — check your state’s form for anything we don’t yet collect. If your primacy agency requires its exact form, tell us which state and we will build that layout next.
